Silver Tribute Coin Necklace

 The Tribute Coin Necklace features a replica of a coin Jesus once used to answer a trick question presented by the pharisees. Recounted in the Gospel of Matthew and Mark, the pharisees asked Jesus if it was right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not.

Before answering, Jesus asked the pharisees to show him the denarius used for paying taxes. They brought him a coin bearing Caesar’s face, a coin now dubbed the Tribute coin. Jesus then responded by saying, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's."
